Community Social Responsibility

Old Town Hot Springs is an historic hot spring and family-friendly recreational facility in the heart of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We have been a location for recreation and rejuvenation in this community since its beginnings over 100 years ago. As an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is not tax-supported like so many other community recreation and fitness facilities, Old Town Hot Springs is entirely funded by our members, guests and gracious donors.

We are focused on meeting the health and wellness needs of our community including Steamboat Springs and surrounding towns in Routt County. As custodians of an historic and community icon we have grown and improved over the years into a multi-use complex, offering recreational and educational opportunities in water and fitness for all ages.

As part of our mission and vision we believe in giving back to the community that supports us.  We give back over $40,000 annually in sponsorships and donations to selected organizations that align with our mission statement and goals.

For 2016 we selected the following categories for giving:

  1. Underprivileged, economically disadvantaged or disabled youth and seniors in Routt County.
  2. Community health and fitness organizations and events that benefit our community.

  3. Community environmental initiatives and events.

  4. Routt County Schools - public and private
